Yes…I’m still pregnant

Posted on January 5, 2009

So without meaning to, I guess I managed to hide my pregnant stomach in the Christmas post I made. I got a few comments from people asking where my pregnant stomach was…I was under the impression that my pregnant face and gigantic thighs would have been enough “proof” of the weight…er I mean BABY that is growing away at the moment. :) Our sweet girl is due on Friday, but she can come whenever she wishes, I’m just hoping maybe a tad sooner than later, it’s the downhill slide now and I’m SOOO eager to see her sweet face and get to know her sweetness! I keep thinking everyday, “Oh today will be the day!” but so far nothing. Kate was a week late…so I’m preparing myself for that this time as well.

So here I am and from these angles there is no denying…I AM pregnant! :) I love the second photo especially cause Kate is in the background doing what she does best…picking her nose. I happened to look up just in time to see her digging away and proceeded to click away, it’s blurry but it makes me laugh!
Also I gotta give props out to my creative genius mother who made my awesome camera strap. She makes me various ones all the time and this is the latest one I got for Christmas. I’m always excited when she sends me packages cause usually she has another awesome creative treat for me!!! THANK YOU MOM! (She is seriously the best and not just cause she supplies me with amazing creative gifts, she’s the best for many, many reasons…if anyone else out there thinks THEIR mom is the best…well you would be wrong cause my mom already rocks the coveted title!)

I do hope the next post I create is with pictures of our new baby girl! So until next time, wish me lots of healthy baby and easy delivery wishes!

Maternity Leave

Posted on December 10, 2008

In a short 4 weeks I’ll be due to have my little baby girl. When I realize that in between now and then I have all the fun Christmas hoopla to make the time go by even faster I get so excited! So all that to say I won’t be taking on any new clients for a while. I still have some photo shoots I’m editing and some that are scheduled, but I won’t be booking any new photoshoots until I’m recovered from delivery and our new family of four will be adjusted and used to our new precious member. I can still fill any print orders for my former clients, as well as provide customer service, so don’t hesitate to email me at any time and I’ll be happy to help in anyway I can. My email address is: annie_pennington@mac.com

Thank you to all my wonderful clients who have trusted me to capture their memories. I have loved working with all of you and hope to work with you again before we all move onto our new military assignments. Happy Holidays everyone!

Me and my girls

Ever since last week when I found out that I’m expecting another precious girl I’ve been wanting to have a picture of me with my girls. Finally got it today. Thank goodness for camera timers and a semi-cooperative toddler. :)

Pregnancy Stuff

Posted on August 3, 2008

I love bring pregnant. I’m more chill, more happy, laugh more, I swear my own mental outlook on life improves the second my body starts incubating our precious kiddos. I can’t even tell you how many times I get overcome with a giggling fest, one complete with tears streaming down my face. It’s AWESOME!!!!! Usually the laughing fits are a result of something quite simple and not even all THAT hilarious, but it gets me and then before I know it BOOM…I’m overcome with giggles and have to try and contain myself  so that I don’t make a scene. HAAA!!! Another fun pregnancy element is being pregnant along with celebrities. I had Kate within a couple of months of Violet Affleck, Suri Cruise & Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. Of course the depressing element of that was that Jen Garner, Katie Holmes and Angelina Jolie looked way better at 9 months pregnant than I did…but I choose to believe it was cause they had the best stylist and endless wardrobe funds. :)

So upon a little research I realize that this time around I’m pregnant along with more celebrities! The first being good ol’ Michelle Dugger. She’s pregnant with #18. Wow…EIGHTEEN children, I can’t even fathom. You know what though, Michelle and her husband seem like the most WONDERFUL parents. Of all the couples in the world they seem like the ones who are the more patient and loving and if they want 18 or more, they seem more than qualified! Another reason I admire them is because they support their children fully with no assistance from other sources. They are hero’s in my book for that reason alone!!!  I’m assuming she experiences the same mental happiness as me while I’m pregnant, which is why she just keeps popping them out time after time. :)
Another celebrity pregnancy I just discovered is one from none other than a scrapbooker who I’ve followed and have loved for YEARS!!! The awesome Ali Edwards! I’ve followed her journey caring for her autistic son Simon and have always admired not only how hands-on and positive her mothering instincts seem to be, but also her beautifully real journaling style with her scrapping. I’ve really gained a lot of inspiration from her journaling! Oh and her handwriting ROCKS!!! Seriously the coolest handwriting in the scrapping world!!!
And finally I was pregnant along with this celeb before, so it’s cool that it’s happened again. The beautiful Jennifer Garner is expecting her second…well I don’t think it’s OFFICIALLY been announced by her, but all the celeb magazines are posting pictures of her and saying she is, so I’ll just take that as good enough for now. :)
Wonder what other pregnant celebs will pop up in the coming months?

Just wanted to post very quickly and share our wonderful news. I’m expecting another baby girl. I’m so incredibly excited. Can’t wait to introduce Kate and her baby sister to the incredible world of sisterhood. So thankful this new baby girl will be born into a life instantly feeling so wanted and loved. So excited that she has a big sister so eager to meet her and be her lifelong friend.  I’m just so incredibly grateful my girls will get the joy of sisterhood like I so cherish with my own sisters. I’m feeling mighty grateful. So thankful for this miraculous opportunity of Motherhood. Seriously taking so much time to just sit and thank Jesus for this great blessing.
