I met up with this sweet family this weekend. We’d already had to re-schedule once because of rainy Germany weather and as the time for their photoshoot got closer and closer the clouds seemed to be accumulating and getting grayer and grayer. I was starting to worry that we might have to reschedule yet again, but the weather was on our side and while it stayed very overcast, we never got wet! This sweet family was such a joy to photograph. Their little girls were so sweet and loving to each other! It made me really excited for when my girls reach their ages!
This is one of my very favorites from the session. I LOVE photos that are unposed and just beautifully natural. Look at how happy Mom and Dad are with little sister while big sister is so sweetly leaning on Daddy!
I can’t decide which are my favorites of these two sweet sissies interacting with each other. This one is so sweet cause big sister is so tickled to get a kiss from little sister.
But then look how adoringly little sis is looking up at big sis. LOVE how beautifully natural this is!
I think Mom and Dad had a good time together too. Had to include what’s quickly become my signature couples photo…even though I’ve posted this same pose several times, it just keeps getting better. Check out the awesome texture on that wall and D is rocking a great expression!
I LOVE the expressioned captured here on D’s face when J lived things up by grabbing her butt. SO FUN!!

I had the pleasure of meeting with this wonderful family yesterday morning. They were the most fun, sweet family! It was obvious they all loved each other deeply. It was such a pleasure to meet them and take their photographs I took LOTS and this is just the first bit I’ve edited. Still lots more of great photos left for me to edit…it’s so much fun for me!!!

My wonderful, amazing, creative, beautiful (and every other positive and lovely adjective you can think of) mother, who Kate and Claire know as Granny has been more than just lightly suggesting I create a post with her grandgirls. 
Just because I don’t post daily photos of my girls doesn’t mean I don’t TAKE daily photos of my girls! Honestly there are so many I sometimes overwhelm myself! I literally have hard drive after hard drive busting at the seams worth of K&C photos!
Here are some photos I took of the girls on Easter afternoon in their uber hip and cute matching outfits that said Granny whipped up herself (see? I told you she was creative!)

This precious girl has a shirt that sums up everything she is: Simply Perfect.
This sweet girl was such a breeze to photograph! She smiled constantly! Such a perfect little baby! Not to mention she has some of the most INCREDIBLE eyes ever!!! Look at those eyelashes!!!
And does this baby girl not have the most adorable outfits EVER!!! I’ve never seen so much incredible argyle prints! I took fashion notes for Claire!

Outdoor photos are my favorite to take. I just prefer the natural backdrop of nature, the warm lighting that only natural sunlight can give and when it’s not too out of control I love a soft breeze to blow my subjects hair around – all that just makes for the best portraiture! So with that said…it’s Spring!! It’s warming up outside and I’m taking photos outdoors again….I’m BACK!!!!!!!
My girls and I went on a walk today, and while Claire stayed snuggled up in her stroller snoozing I took pictures of Kate. She’s really looking so big these days. So bittersweet watching my girl growing up so much.
