I'm Annie Pennington, a 20-something creative soul who is married to a treasure of a man and is the mommy to two priceless little girls. I adore capturing the beauty in this world. Love to capture everything from the beautiful details in the big stuff to the beautiful details in the normal everyday little stuff. Last Place

Not that it’s really a race…but just so everyone knows I’m in last place. I’m still pregnant and everyone else has given birth at this point! HAAA!

Michelle Dugger – girl, 7 lbs, 3oz.
Jennifer Garner – girl.
Bristol Palin – boy,  7lbs., 7 oz.
Charlotte Church – boy 7lbs., 5oz. 
Notice what name IS NOT up there? Ummm, yours truly is in last place…and isn’t even near the finish line at this point. I am a bit impatient, I won’t lie. But I also think it’s very important to wait and not shove a baby out before they are ready just for the sake of being impatient. So with that in mind I’m just sitting at home, waiting and waiting. This has thrown a loop in lots of plans, which is difficult to work around, but at this point it’s out of our hands, so we’re just taking it moment by moment and knowing everything will fall into place somehow, someway. I have doctor appointments every two days now that I’ve officially surpassed all three various due dates I’ve been assigned, just to insure our baby girl is doing well and not in any distress. When I chose my word for the year (Strength), I had no idea I’d be immediately given this shining situation to find my inner strength to just stay positive and patient. I’m comfortable though, I feel great, my ankles aren’t even swollen! So I really do have so much to be thankful for. Just busy praying for a healthy baby girl and a positive experience delivering in a foreign hospital.

    Annie, I was really hoping that she would be here by now!! I am soo sorry you are still waiting to meet her! But you are STRONG and she will come soon enough!! I REALLY hope that I will get to meet her once before I leave next week. Could you try to call me when you are at the hospital so I can come visit you there?? Good luck!!

    She’s busy getting primped for her big photo-op in there. She knows she’s going to be the star of some pretty gorgeous photos so she’s got to look perfect. Give her time :) It’s so hard to wait, isn’t it! We’re thinking of you over here and can’t wait to see her.

    man youre strong! im happy to hear that youre comfy and staying positive. and lucky! my ankles were about the same size as my thighs (which were HUGE) the whole last month!
    i hope all goes well in wittlich. keep me posted! and seriously, i have no problem watching kate for you if you need me.
