I'm Annie Pennington, a 20-something creative soul who is married to a treasure of a man and is the mommy to two priceless little girls. I adore capturing the beauty in this world. Love to capture everything from the beautiful details in the big stuff to the beautiful details in the normal everyday little stuff. Capturing Teenagers/High School Seniors

I have two sisters who are 14 & 16 who I’m very close to, even though we live in different countries we stay in close contact so I like to think I’m pretty cool and hip and “with it”…okay I realize by just using the term “with it” I probably lost any chance I had at any cool credibility. HAAA! In all seriousness I find the high energy and vibrancy of teenagers completely fun! Just realizing what an exciting time it is in their lives, that the choices they make as far as where they decide to go to school, where they work, their career path, all of that is BIG stuff and will be the stepping stone toward adulthood. It’s a special time to capture and I love when I get the opportunity to photograph them!

    Where were you when I was a senior? These are so much more beautiful than those canned jobs you get at the studios! There’s a shot of me, that I’m sure everyone has, where I’m backlit against the blue background, and I swear, with the hair falling around my face, I look like Jesus. My family calls it that…the Rachel Jesus picture. If you took my picture, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been mistaken for a man!
