I’m still alive! :)

Just posting quickly to say I’m still alive! I’m sure LOTS of people were concerned. LOL! The good news is a certain guy who I’m pretty nuts about is HOME!!!! David came home from deployment a little over a week ago and I’ve been so enthralled with him that blogging has taken a major backseat. We’ve been busy going on fun outings and just re-connecting as a family. I promise to update this post with pictures once I edit them.

What I wanna be when I grow up

When I was growing up the #1 thing I always wanted to be when I grew up was a wife and mom. I feel very blessed that my ultimate dream has come true! How many people get to say that??? I am so very blessed! But just because the two spots at the top of the list have been reached, doesn’t mean there are still a slew of other dreams listed below them that have yet to come true/never will come true (not being negative…just being realistic, and once you read the following list you’ll agree some are just too far out there!) 

This is something I’ve seriously wanted to do for a long time. It pairs two of the things I really love – cooking and photography – I mean what could be better?? So occasionally when I make a new recipe that looks especially pretty I photograph it and put it in my personal little recipe photograph file.  

Chicken Pot Pie soup. Which while very pretty it really wasn’t that tasty. I mean it’s okay, but not as spectacular as I was hoping BUT I’m still proud that I tried a new recipe and got a pretty picture out of the deal.

I snapped some photos of my girl playing outside. She’s one animated little thing! I know I keep mentioning it, but her cheesy camera smile CRACKS ME UP! She discovered our landlords lawn ornament angel in the flower bed and kept running over to hug it, she kept saying, “Kate’s little friend” in reference to it. Funny stuff.

I KEEP … all my scrapbook, photography and cooking magazines (it’s an addiction AND I read them ALL cover to cover!) 
I WISH I COULD …better organize all my scrapbook, photography and cooking magazines. HAAA!
