Goodbye Alabama

Tomorrow we are leaving Alabama. It was a long 5 weeks for David who did a lot of studying and working out for the military course, but for me it was very close to absolute bliss. Sure we stayed in a one room hotel room with a dinky bathroom, lived out of suitcases & had no a/c for half of the trip. BUT I got maid service each day so I really was only responsible for caring for Kate, tidying the room and doing laundry. There is an incredible Playground (Kate’s new word is Play Park) right outside our door that I will miss greatly, several wonderful Mommy’s and Daddy’s who hung out at the Play Park and visited while our children played, and because of the dinky kitchen we ate out more than ever, which was great for my pallet and aversion to cleaning the kitchen…not so great for my waistline. All in all for me this was an incredible experience. I LOVED this opportunity to live in the states among all the great convieneces of home. I LOVED meeting so many new friends not only me, but for Kate as well. Alabama is WONDERFUL! I’ll miss it greatly!
