Guess who’s home…

David is home from deployment. So great to have him back home with us. To share in all the cool Kate stuff he’d missed out on. Kate took no time in reaquainting herself with him and is full swing in saying tons of “Daddy mere” (which is Kate speak for “Daddy come here”). LOVE watching them together and having fun!

Back from Oklahoma

Well I’m back. Gosh it was heaven being back home. Loved reconnecting with my precious, priceless family. Kate overall was an excellent traveler and just made everyone fall in love with her! We were blessed to sit by nice people during the duration of our travels and While I was gone I played photographer and photographed some of my family and friends. I had so many photo shoots and borrowed so many books from the library I feel like I went through a crash course of the equivilant of at least a year of photography school!

I still have TONS to learn, but I’m now a lot more comfortable with my camera and the manual mode in general. Gosh it was a wonderful experience!! I’m including just a handfull of some of my favorite photos from the photo sessions I had. It was hard to leave and know that my go at “Playing Photographer” was officially over, but maybe the next time I go home I can do more!
